SP & Co. "Three Winter Birds"

Here is another card I made using SP & Co. stamp titled "Three Winter Birds" This card was a challenge for me. I am limited on copic colors and I wanted each bird to have their own color. I didn't want to color them all the same. This being said I had to be creative with blending colors. Some worked better than others. Itwas a great learning project for me.

Here's the recipe:

Card stock: PTI Dark Chocolate
Patterned paper: Paper Studio "Santa & Friends
Stamp: Three Winter Birds, SP & Co. Bold Sentiments II: Holiday
Dies: MFT STAX circle 1& 2
Other: PTI twine
Copics: E08  E11  E35  E37  YR24  Y38  Y32  G24  YG 67  W1  B0000

Today I have a card that isn't a Christmas card! Amazing!!!
I got this stamp for my birthday(in June) from my son, Andy. I hadn't inked it up so I decided to take a break from Christmas and do something else. Penny Black "Chill Day"

Hello! I have yet another Christmas card to share. I am loving making Christmas items so far! I know its not even December yet..but I must get ahead of the game.

So, today I used this super cute Penny Black stamp called "Chill Day" It was a quick image to color. This card went together very quickly so I made a few.

I stamped the image with Versafine Onyx black and used clear embossing powder and heat set it. I then colored it up with my copics. I only used: R 27  R29  E 50  E 51.

The paper is from Bazzil "Countsown to Christmas" paper pack from this year.

The sentiment stamp I picked up from Hobby Lobby, I really liked the font. I ribbon was from Walmart.

Thanks for stopping by!

Penny Black "Jolly Friends"

Hello Again!
I have another post! I will be adding many new cards in the next few days! I have been really busy creating and having fun lately!!

This is a stamp from the Penny Black "Jolly Friends" set. I thought it was so cute! I stamped this image in Versafine and added clear embossing powder. I heated that up with my heat tool. This is a new technique for me. I discovered this when the stamp I was using didn't make a clear impression. Using the Versafine ink and embossing with clear I found the image stamped clear!

This technique is safe to use with my copic markers!

Thanks so much for visiting! If you have any questions, please let me know and I will be happy to answer them.

Thanks again and have a super day!

Stampendous Christmas Truck with Tree

Hello!

I have been really busy making a lot of cards this past week.
I hope to get many posted and linked up here on the blog soon!
The first card I have to post is a Christmas card. I purchased the stamp at Michaels last week when they had the stamps on sale. I really liked this one, because it seems to lean more on the masculine side of cards. As many people who are card makers know, masculine cards can be somewhat of a challenge. (At least for me)

I colored this image using my copics and used Christmas pattern paper to finish up the card. I colored this image twice as you can see, one the truck is colored in red and the other the truck is colored in blue.

Which one is your favorite?

Thanks for stopping by and viewing my blog. If you haven't subscribed please do, would love to have you as a friend!

Have a great day!

SP&Co. Sledding Penguins Tag

Hello! Today I have another tag to share! I used SP&Co. again to create this tag.

First, I made the background paper using Iced spruce, Tumbled glass and Chipped Sapphire. I used my blending tool and beginning with the lightest color I applied the inks to my white card stock. Lightly blending the colors together until I liked the finished paper.I set this paper aside to dry.

I stamped the penguin image on to C.C. Designs copic quality CS. Colored the image in with my copics. Then I cut out the penguins.

Once my background paper was dry I die cut it out using MFT Vertical Greeting die and cut off one end. I stamped the small snowflake on the background paper using SP&co. "Fancy Snowflakes." Added Recollections fine glitter to the center of each snowflake.

I used pop dots to adhere the penguins to the tag.  I then stamped in PTI Blueberry Sky the sentiment to the tag using Amy R's "Frosty Sentiments.

I topped the tag off with a few blue ribbons I got from Hobby Lobby.

SP&Co. Tag (Snowman and Snowdog little birdie)

Today I have another tag to share. First I began by making the background paper. I used bundled sage and peeled paint distress inks. Rubbed them on the paper using a blending tool to make the green background. I then sprayed the paper with Gold shimmer from Imagine Crafts.

I let the paper dry. I then die cut out the tag using PTI "Tag Sale #3" from my background paper.

I used the SP&Co. Stitched Journal card die and cut out the starburst shape.

On this shape I stamped the letters J and Y in PTI "New Leaf", the letters are from SP&Co."Big Build a Banner #2" and the bird is from SP&Co. "Snowman and Snowdog".

I stamped the bird

image in Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored the image with copics:
 bird - R29  R35  R89   branch- E25  E29

The paper I used  for the sentiment was from PTI- Pure Poppy and the
patterned paper was from Hobby Lobby "Christmas Traditions"

The finishing touches are sequins from Joann's and the ribbon is from Hobby Lobby.
